Wordpress Get Log In Plugin Options
Before using the Get Log In Plugin you will have to change some of the default settings.
Changing your settings
To change your settings please:
- Log into Wordpress
- Open the "Settings" tab. (which is located at the bottom of the vertical navigation on the left of your Wordpress administration panel.)
- Click on the "Get Login Options" option in the "Settings" tab.
Settings Options
You have seven options available to you on this page.
- Display the 'Log In' link? - This option turns the 'Log In' and 'Log Out' Links on and off. If you would like the 'Log In' and 'Log Out' Links to be displayed in your navigation created using Wordpress' function wp_list_pages click 'yes'.
- Name the 'Log In' link - This option allows you to change the viewable text that represents the 'Log In' link. The link will still take you to Wordpress' wp-login.php page.
- Name the 'Log Out' link - This option allows you to change the viewable text that represents the 'Log Out' link. The link will still take you to Wordpress' wp-login.php?action=logout page.
- Display the 'Register' link? - This option turns the 'Register' and 'My Profile' Links on and off. If you would like the 'Register' and 'My Profile' Links to be displayed in your navigation created using Wordpress' function wp_list_pages click 'yes'.
- Name the 'Register' link - This option allows you to change the viewable text that represents the 'Register' link. The link will still take you to Wordpress' wp-login.php?action=register page.
- Name the 'My Profile' link - This option allows you to change the viewable text that represents the 'My Profile' link. The link will still take you to Wordpress' profile.php page.
- Redirect to web page user was viewing after log in/out? - This option allows you to set whether a user upon log in/out is redirected to the page they were viewing. Set to 'yes' if you'd like them to be redirected.
